Hello.
Here are some character opportunities for this SL. If you are interested and have not become a registered member for this site, please register. Registration is simple and easy, I promise. Afterward, please PM me with the following information about your character that you are interested in.
Name: Image: History: Alignment: Personality:
Please look at the list of available characters for the story thus far. If you want to make a character that is not on the list, fill out the same information along with a short explanation of what their role would be in the SL. If the character has (Open) next to their name, they are available to be rped.
Characters 1. The Brothers. (played by duemachiavelli and sharron) This is the smarter and more collected of the two brothers, though no more or less cruel than his counterpart. He's a hot and cold personality, easy to anger or become indifferent. He is interested in power and seeks to secure their position by completing their domination of the harbor town, the Widow's Spoon. The other brother is more unstable than his counterpart. He doesn't care much for power or money and is prone to fits of violence. Generally, only his twin brother has his ear. He is effective at getting what he wants, his brutal reputation has many of the locals bend to his whim.
2. Owner of Rogues Tavern. (played by jennetshorditch) Though the place is generally swamped with members of the brother's organization, the Hive, the owner still maintains a strong front in dealing with them. As a local hangout and drawing point for merchants going through the Widow's Spoon, it is an establishment the brothers have been hungrily trying to acquire. The owner has been relentless, though, in not giving up.
3. Bruce. (Open) This is the right hand man to the brothers. It is said that he is the only one that can tell the identical twins apart and that if anyone had the nerve to kidnap him, he'd know the most to spill about the organization. He's rough and been around the block, but the brothers have made him wealthy and because of that, he's their loyal manager of the Hive.
4. The Detectives. (Closed) After James Owen left his post at the Widow's Spoon, the town had placed an add for a detective. Little did they know it would be answered by a married duo who would hopefully be up for the challenge of restoring the town to the civil state it had once posessed.
5. [b]The Cohort. (played by sowthedevil). Andy Jacob ran with the Orpheum, another questionable organization which came into great strife. It is wildly believed that he will align himself with the Brothers and that together, their forces will be magnified beyound what the town's detective force can control.
6. The Spy. (played by aaronblack). Someone works for the Hive, but that is not their true boss. In reality, they are reporting to someone else. Is there hope that the town may rid itself of the Brothers' presence after all?
There are other characters that can be welcomed. Anyone who wants to play a merchant or someone passing through, or a victim of the Brothers treachery are more than welcome. Again, just submit the details of your idea in a PM to me and once it has been okayed, you will be accepted into the story for it to be played.
Thanks! Feel free to ask any additional questions.

The Owner of Rogue's Tavern
![[image] [image]](http://i466.photobucket.com/albums/rr28/CorrenLaine/Jennetfinal.jpg)
Name: Jennet Shorditch
Player id: jennetshorditch
History: Born and raised behind the bar of the Rogue's Tavern, Jennet was always going to be the innkeeper when it came time for her father to retire. Unfortunately, he didn't get the chance to retire. She doesn't know the full details, but she suspects that the Brothers had something to do with her father's mutilated body being dumped on the doorstep of the tavern one winter's night. Since then, she has run the Rogue to the very best of her ability, keeping up a good relationship with her regulars and the merchants who pass through. While she doesn't like or trust the Brothers, she will serve them and their stooges when they come into the tavern, on the proviso that they do no business under her roof. And she is not above taking a club to them if they disregard this wish.
Alignment: Neutral Good
Personality: Generally a cheerful woman, Jennet is above all else practical. She will offer help to those who need it, even if it means breaking or bending a law or established rule to do so. She can be as raucous as her regulars when the occasion calls for it, but her main strength is that she always knows when to listen and when to give privacy. However, if she thinks that she or her tavern are being threatened, she will close down completely, becoming impossible to read. And she always has her barkeep's friend (a club with nails in it), just in case.
Rogues Tavern: Though the place is generally swamped with members of the brother's organization, the Hive, the owner still maintains a strong front in dealing with them. As a local hangout and drawing point for merchants going through the Widow's Spoon, it is an establishment the brothers have been hungrily trying to acquire. The owner has been relentless, though, in not giving up.

The Spy
![[image] [image]](http://i466.photobucket.com/albums/rr28/CorrenLaine/aaron.jpg)
Name: Aaron Black
Player id: aaronblack
History/Personality: Aaron has a photographic memory, which serves his true employer very well. Seen as a simple runner for The Hive, he's become a trusted member of that organization through his hard work and dedication.
However his true employer is the city's police department. He looks young enough to be fresh out of a two year college. This serves him well as a cop who doesn't want to look or act like a cop.
Alignment: Chaotic Good

The New Detectives in Town
![[image] [image]](http://i466.photobucket.com/albums/rr28/CorrenLaine/our_secret_place_by_lunalove_hero-d4kn7ac.jpg)
Name: Elizabeth [Lizzy] Agnes and Nicholas Samuel Borden
Player Id: TBA
History: The Borden's are a match made in heaven. Nicholas and Lizzy grew up far from Widow's Spoon, in a bigger more rugged port city. They met early on in their childhood, and just so happen to be of small social standing that they had the freedom to marry. Lizzy plays the dutiful wife, as is expected of her, while Nicholas polices the ghastly streets at night. It wasn't until more recent years that she assisted Mr. Borden in unmasking a cold blooded widow who murdered her husband and a few other officials that the Borden's gained some recognition. Due to his heroic efforts Mr.Borden was offered up the Detective post in Widow's Spoon and accepted with Mrs.Borden's encouragement.
Alignment: Official Good.
Personalities: Mr. Borden is a loyal and borderline obsessive man. He's embarrassed by what the other men might think or do should they find out Mrs. Borden's assistance in his last case and her enthusiasm for his new Detective post. He can be intimidating when need be and is an experienced fighter from walking the streets at night as a patrol man. Mr. Borden can also be quite the talker, while Mrs. Borden is a far better listener. She is a soft and gentle beauty, as to be expected of any woman without children to consume her time. She is brilliant, with an eye for detail and cunning when put on the spot. Mr. Borden may wear the suite and badge, but together they make the perfect detective team.
